Coverdesign for EPs
I design every cover the label releases. The first thing I built was the frame: mark at the top, title centred in serif caps, catalogue number at the foot. Everything else - image, colour, mood - comes from the record itself. That way the covers stack into a series without repeating each other.

EP #001
The label's first release, and a personal record for the artist. I kept it black and white and abstract: heavy grain, one soft form, nothing to identify. No face, no place, no clue - the music had to be the only thing left to hold on to.

EP #002
Faded colour, a small boat on still water, mirrored into itself. I chose the image straight from the title: a picture with almost nothing in it that still isn't empty. Warmer and more figurative than the first, but inside the same frame - the series moves, the system holds.
