"Macht immer Sinn"

Campaign for ver.di

Together with the digital agency la red, we were looking for a solution to attract new members to one of the largest unions in Germany.

Our task: We wanted to explain what advantages ver.di has to offer. Unfortunately, ver.di is often associated with the topic of “strikes”. Ver.di does a lot more for its members and we wanted to show this through a digital awareness campaign by listing all the benefits of membership and explaining them in a simple way, with a lot of humor. We started with a humorous campaign film and accompanied this by creating display ads and social media posts that dealt with rational topics such as questions about job references, tenancy law, etc.

Within a very short time, the film was viewed almost 1 million times on YouTube and Facebook. More than 100,000 people came to the website via the film and traditional online advertising media.

Creating the advertising material, social media posts and also developing the concept and ideas for the campaign was one of my many tasks for this great project!
